Add IMAP and web-based

accessing e-mail from multiple locations. You can login from
any web browser into your server and see the same messages and
folders that you see from your desktop computer. Great for
those who frequently travel.
Adds:
Additional
prerequisites:
Add SSL
Security (add $30.00 plus SSL certificate
cost)
Provides security
by encrypting passwords and e-mail between your e-mail client
and your e-mail server. This can be important if you have
roaming e-mail users.
SSL requires that your server have a
secure server certificate signed by a valid certificate
authority.
Adds:
-
Protocol support:
SMTPS, POP3S, and the SMTP START-TLS command
-
Installation of
SSL patch to daemontools and START-TLS patch to qmail-smtpd
Additional
prerequisites:
Add Anti-virus

Adds anti-virus

the administration will be done through the command line, with
reasonably simple commands. (If you want a web-interface, look
at vpopmail web tools.)
Adds:
Add Vpopmail web
tools (add $50)
This adds web-based
management of domains and e-mail users to the vpopmail user
administration package. Adding new users becomes as simple as
pointing and clicking; anyone can do it!
Web-tools adds:
-
Support for web-based
administration of: adding and removing e-mail users,
creating e-mail forwarding and aliases, adding and removing
virtual domains, changing user passwords, setting user
e-mail quotas, etc.
-
Installation of:
qmailadmin, vqadmin, ezmlm-idx, and autorespond
-
Not supported:
ezmlm-idx is a mailing list software package that is
installed because it is required by qmailadmin. We do not,
however, support creation of mailing lists.
Open relay
recovery jobs

recovery.
Open Relay
diagnostic ($75.00)
We will look at
your server to determine the cause of your open relay and
blacklist problems and will advise you on how to best solve
the problem. (This fixed price is limited to 0.6 hours of
diagnostic time.)
Includes:
-
Expert diagnosis
of your open relay problem.
-
Expert advice on
how to best solve the problem, taking into account your
requirements.
Prerequisites:
SMTP-AUTH install
and test ($35.00; can only be purchased with open relay
diagnostic)
Allows your
roaming e-mail users to authenticate before relaying with SMTP.
SMTP-AUTH requires that your e-mail client’s software support
it and that a configuration change be made in each e-mail
client.
Includes:
Prerequisites:
-
An existing,
fully working qmail installation.
-
No previous
installation attempt of SMTP-AUTH.
-
This requires
patching the qmail-smtpd.c source code file. If this source
code file is not available or is already patched with
patches that conflict, then we will bring in a pristine
qmail-smtpd.c and patch it, which will loose any patches
already applied.
-
A working
checkpassword program or POP3 server.
-
A valid e-mail
username and password pair so that we can test SMTP-AUTH.
smtp-poplock
install and test ($60.00; can only be purchased with open
relay diagnostic)
Allows roaming
e-mail users to relay with SMTP after authenticating first
with POP3. This provides immediate functionality without any
client configuration changes. However, smtp-poplock can create
a hiccup if someone tries to send e-mail before checking their
e-mail, so SMTP-AUTH is the recommended long-term solution.
Includes:
Prerequisites:
-
An existing,
fully working qmail installation.
-
No previous
installation attempt of SMTP-AUTH.
-
Your POP3 and/or
IMAP and/or SMTP server must run from tcpserver under
daemontools. (We are able to install smtp-poplock under
other configurations as hourly consulting work.)
-
Your POP3 and
IMAP server must log authentications to STDERR.
SMTP-AUTH and smtp-poplock
install and test (combo of above two services) ($95.00; can
only be purchased with open relay diagnostic)
Allows you to get
working quickly with smtp-poplock, then migrate to SMTP-AUTH
for long term use, or simply have the best of both worlds.
This is a
combination of the above two services.
Clean SPAM
messages from your queue ($60.00; can only be purchased with
open relay diagnostic)
Once we install
SMTP-AUTH or smtp-poplock no new spam messages will get into
your server. However, messages already in your qmail queue can
be delivered by your server for up to a week. We can clean all
of these out for you so that you are totally free of your SPAM
problem.
Provides:
Prerequisites:
-
An existing,
fully working qmail installation.
-
A qmail system
that has had any open relay problems fixed.
SMTP relaying
through our server ($35.00 per week)
If your server has
been blacklisted, then legitimate e-mail from your server may
be rejected by other servers. While you are getting off the
blacklist, we can allow your server to send e-mail through our
server – instantly solving your blacklist hassles.
